Hang-Chien Hammond MA, OTR/L, CLT, graduated in 1999 from Chung-Shan Medical University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She worked as psychiatric occupational therapist in Taiwan. In 2005, Hang-Chien graduated from New York University with a Master degree in Occupational Therapy. She has since worked with Adult populations in Utah, New York, New Jersey, and Florida in home health therapy and skilled nursing homes.

Hang-Chien (Hong-Chen) has particular clinical experience in CVA, Total Joint Rehab, Activities of Daily Living training, Orthopedic Rehab, Wheel Chair Positioning, Pain Management, Senior Fitness, Fall Prevention, Adapted Equipment Training, and Home Environment Modification.


As an occupational therapist, Hang-Chien developed a passion for lymphedema. In 2006, she completed 135 hour training program of Manual Lymph Drainage (Vodder Technique) and Complete Decongestive Therapy from Academy of Lymphatic Studies. She was rewarded as Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT).Practicing as lymphedema therapist, Hang-Chien has applied the treatment not only with patients with lymphedema, but also people with frequent cellulites, edema, wound, and fibromyalgia.


In 2012, Hang-Chien completed three advanced training course with Kinesio Taping Association and became a Kinesio Taping Practitioner.

With YOUR goals in mind, Hang-Chien is able to treat her clients with personalized treatment protocols. Combined with her mental health experience, she treats each client as a Whole person and not just a “body part”. Utilizing her extensive training, she is able to promote the best healing and recovery rate so you can live a better life!

Hang-Chien enjoys traveling and hiking in National Parks/State Parks all over the United States. She also loves cooking, tasting good foods, and playing board games. She grew up in Taiwan, and now lives in Utah with her amazing husband and a spoiled golden retriever, Mega.
